Breaky-face dollOn a cluttered shelf I waited, behind many others, far better than me, with prettier faces, fancier dresses, sweeter smiles. I sat in the dark, tarnished by lack of care, trying to peek around the others. Every now and then a tiny bit of light illuminated my faded face, giving me hope. One by one, the others disappeared, and with them the inspiring light.
I sit in the desolate shadows, alone, losing faith with every tick of the clock. A light, brighter than any before, glints off my porcelain face.

Friends?Do you ever look around, wondering who your true friends are? Who would back you up in a fight, or even claim you around their other friends?
The situational friends, who only pretend to like you for the moment. The fake friends, who are only there to get something from you. The sponge friends, who just act like the people they are near at the time.
Who is true to you? You have no idea, do you? You can point to a few "I think..."s, but you really don't know who you can trust.
Eye-opening? It shouldn't be.
What you really need to ask is "What kind of friend Friends?
